Valmont Price Guard monitors Shopify product-variant pricing for material regressions.

Data processed

The app stores shop installation records, product and variant identifiers and titles, SKU when present, price and compare-at price snapshots, scan history, incident records, monitoring thresholds, and an optional merchant-provided alert email.

Data not collected

V1 does not request or store customer data, orders, payment data, addresses, checkout contents, product descriptions, or product images.

Purpose

Store configuration data is used only for read-only price monitoring, incident history, alerts, billing, reliability, and support.

Retention and deletion

Shop-linked application data is deleted when Shopify requests shop redaction after uninstall.
